Today has been another one of those.  But I thought I would attempt to get something up.

Ain't She Sweet.

Siri and I took a quick walk down to the beach this morning; kiddos in tow. Stella was strapped snugly to my chest in the Bjorn and Jack was running around barefoot poppin' goldfish and talking transformers.  I brought the camera and made my dear friend play model for a few.  I mean, WHAT?  I won't even get into how ridiculous she is right now.  I won't.  I'll just let the photos speak for themselves. 

*HEY - remember the days when we'd pack fancy picnics and bottles of wine and head to the beach where we laid in the sun for hours (HORRIBLE) to work on that oh-so crucial and perfect tan?  Now we are lucky if we get 20 minutes and you're chasing away the seagulls while I am covered head to toe in sweats with a baby attached to a not-so-bikini-friendly bod. This time our drink of choice is the coffee that keeps us awake after yet another nearly sleepless night.  Boy, our beach days have changed.  And, boy, I sure do love them more than ever.

Thanksgiving Three.

Because that's what we be.

Spending the holiday in LA this year.  Christmas is going to be a wonderfully insane flurry of travels and family time so we thought we'd take a little breather before the madness begins.  While Ari was up in Santa Barbara doing some work today, I got to my work prepping our Thanksgiving dishes.  Couldn't help but whip the camera out.  It had been awhile.

*Clearly I am not down with the "no playing with your food" rule.  No.  Nope. Never.

Little Lullabies.

I sing to Stella every day.  The lyrics to my lullabies and nursery rhymes and dee-dah-lee-doos are mostly nonsense.  Sleep-deprived-mother's-stream-of-consciousness nonsense.  "Twinkle twinkle little star yes sir yes sir three bags full." 

I'm not so sure it's the healthiest banter for her to grow up to but it will have to do.  For now.  

Anything to keep tinker bell happy.  And anything to put her to sleep;)
