Minne_session + Baby Howie.

Stella and Ari are napping.  The laundry is hum hum humming.  There are both mini and monster disasters scattered about our house and, per usual, ten, ever-growing "to-do" lists line the wall in the kitchen.  Calling my name.  YELLING my name.  But I won't hear them.  Not yet!  Because it's time to get back to the blog.  A month later, it's time to finally share my spring minne_session adventure.

---

First stop on my journey?  A beautiful lakefront home where sweet, sparkly-eyed Howie and his family dwell.  Howie's Mom and I had not met prior to her booking.  She is a friend of a Badger friend of a Badger friend (some might argue that a Badger friend is the best kind of friend ha!).  Oh how I love these connections.  Because, even before I arrive at a session, I feel that familiarity and ease you feel before arriving at the home of someone you know and love.  Thank you, Amy and family for inviting me into your home and sharing an hour of your time on my favorite kind of morning; perfectly overcast and by the water, to boot.  That little boy of yours sure did charm me and continues to every time I revisit these photos.  What a wonderful welcome and way to kick off a week of Minnesota work + play.

Meet Howie:

_Howie's Preview HERE_

We are already planning a family trip back in June for my Grandma Scanlan's 80th hoopla and my goal is to, again, squeeze in as many shoots as possible with the fine peeps of my home town.  It was truly such an awesome week and a half.  A home in Minnesota, a home in California is all I ask!  I know that, in theory, I already have both.  But to have the means to go back and forth as much as we please...this is my dream.  And I'm determined to make it a reality, dear Twin Cities.
